Amphu Lapcha Pass Trek Itinerary

Day 1: Arrival in Kathmandu (1,400m)
Arrive in Kathmandu and transfer to your hotel. Take time to rest and prepare for the trek. Overnight in Kathmandu.

Day 2: Flight to Lukla (2,860m) and Trek to Chutanga (3,430m)
Fly to Lukla, the gateway to the Everest region. Start your trek with a hike to Chutanga, passing through forests and small villages. Overnight in Chutanga.

Day 3: Acclimatization Day in Chutanga
Spend the day acclimatizing to the altitude. You can take short hikes around the area to help your body adjust. Overnight in Chutanga.

Day 4: Trek to Thuli Kharka (4,300m) via Chatra La Pass (4,600m)
Cross the Chatra La Pass, offering stunning views of the Dudh Koshi valley. Descend to Thuli Kharka for the night. Overnight in Thuli Kharka.

Day 5: Trek to Kothe (3,691m)
Descend into the Hinku Valley, trekking through beautiful forests and along the Hinku River. Overnight in Kothe.

Day 6: Trek to Thaknak (4,358m)
Continue trekking along the Hinku River, gradually gaining altitude as you reach Thaknak. Overnight in Thaknak.

Day 7: Trek to Khare (5,045m)

Day 8: Acclimatization Day in Khare

Day 9: Trek to Mera High Camp (5,780m)
Trek to Mera High Camp, where you’ll prepare for the next day’s summit attempt. Overnight at Mera High Camp.

Day 10: Climb Mera Peak (6,476m) and Trek to Kongma Dingma (4,850m)
Start early to climb Mera Peak. After reaching the summit, descend to Kongma Dingma. Overnight in Kongma Dingma.

Day 11: Trek to Seto Pokhari (5,035m)
Trek through remote and beautiful landscapes to reach Seto Pokhari, a sacred lake in the region. Overnight in Seto Pokhari.

Day 12: Trek to Amphu Lapcha Base Camp (5,400m)

Day 13: Cross Amphu Lapcha Pass (5,845m) and Trek to Chhukung (4,730m)
Start early to cross the steep and icy Amphu Lapcha Pass. Descend into the Imja Valley and continue to Chhukung. Overnight in Chhukung.

Day 14: Trek to Namche Bazaar (3,440m)
Trek through the Khumbu Valley, passing by Tengboche Monastery, before reaching the bustling village of Namche Bazaar. Overnight in Namche Bazaar.

Day 15: Trek to Lukla (2,860m)
