Our History
Alpine Mera Lodge began as a humble dream in 2004, founded by Pemba Dendi Sherpa, a former porter on Mera Peak. Witnessing the challenges trekkers faced in finding a warm and comfortable place to rest, he started with a small tea shop, saving every penny to build something greater. Through years of dedication and hard work, Alpine Mera Lodge grew into a welcoming retreat for adventurers in the heart of the Himalayas. Today, it stands as a testament to Sherpa hospitality, offering breathtaking views, cozy accommodations, and a deep connection to Himalayan culture.
