Mera Peak Climbing Itinerary

Day 1: Arrival in Kathmandu (1,400m)
Arrive in Kathmandu and transfer to your hotel. Rest and prepare for the adventure ahead. Overnight in Kathmandu.

Day 2: Flight to Lukla (2,860m) and Trek to Chutanga (3,430m)
Fly to Lukla and start trekking toward Chutanga. The trail passes through rhododendron forests and small villages. Overnight in Chutanga.

Day 3: Acclimatization Day in Chutanga
Take a rest day in Chutanga to acclimatize. You can go for short hikes to help your body adjust to the altitude. Overnight in Chutanga.

Day 4: Trek to Thuli Kharka (4,300m) via Chatra La Pass (4,600m)
Cross the Chatra La Pass, which offers beautiful views of the surrounding valleys. Descend to Thuli Kharka. Overnight in Thuli Kharka.

Day 5: Trek to Kothe (3,691m)
Descend into the Hinku Valley, following the trail along the Hinku River and passing through forests. Overnight in Kothe.

Day 6: Trek to Thaknak (4,358m)
Continue trekking along the Hinku River, gaining altitude as you reach Thaknak. Overnight in Thaknak.

Day 7: Trek to Khare (5,045m)
Trek to Khare, the base camp for Mera Peak. Enjoy views of Mera Glacier and surrounding mountains. Overnight in Khare at Alpine Mera Lodge.

Day 8: Acclimatization Day in Khare
Spend the day resting and acclimatizing. You can explore the area or take a short hike. Overnight in Khare.

Day 9: Trek to Mera High Camp (5,780m)
Trek to Mera High Camp, where you’ll prepare for the summit push. Overnight at Mera High Camp.

Day 10: Summit Mera Peak (6,476m) and Return to Khare
Start early to reach the summit of Mera Peak. After enjoying the views from the top, descend to Khare. Overnight in Khare.

Day 11: Trek to Kothe (3,691m)
Retrace your steps back to Kothe, descending into the Hinku Valley. Overnight in Kothe.

Day 12: Trek to Thuli Kharka (4,300m)
Trek back to Thuli Kharka, enjoying the beautiful scenery along the way. Overnight in Thuli Kharka.

Day 13: Trek to Lukla (2,860m) via Chatra La Pass (4,600m)
Cross the Chatra La Pass again and descend to Lukla. Celebrate your successful climb. Overnight in Lukla.

Day 14: Flight to Kathmandu
Take an early morning flight from Lukla to Kathmandu. Transfer to your hotel and enjoy the rest of the day at leisure. Overnight in Kathmandu.

Day 15: Departure from Kathmandu
Transfer to the airport for your departure flight, concluding your Mera Peak adventure.
