Panch Pokhari Trek Itinerary on the Way to Mera Peak

Day 1: Arrival in Kathmandu (1,400m)
Arrive in Kathmandu and transfer to your hotel. Rest and prepare for the trek. Overnight in Kathmandu.

Day 2: Trek to bung by road.
Bus departure early in the morning.After a ride of 10-11 hrs of ride you will reach the village named bung.Overnight in Bung.

Day 3: Trek to Khiraule Gumba
Continue trekking through lush forests and terraced fields to reach the Sherpa village named khiraule. Enjoy the views, visit the monastry make a wish for the trek. Overnight in khiraule.

Day 5: Trek to Cholem Kharka
Ascend through rhododendron and forests to reach Cholem Kharka,  enjoy the views from Cholem. Overnight camping at Cholem Kharka.

Day 5: Trek to Panch Pokhari (4,100m)
Ascend through rhododendron and up hills to reach Panch Pokhari, a sacred site with five beautiful lakes. Overnight camping at Khola kharka or you will also find  the hotel to stay.

Day 6: Exploration Day at Panch Pokhari
Spend the day exploring the serene lakes and surrounding area. Enjoy the peaceful atmosphere and stunning mountain views. Overnight camping at Panch Pokhari.

Day 7: Trek to Khote (3,691m)
Descend from Panch Pokhari and continue your trek towards Khote, passing through the Hinku Valley. Overnight in Khote.

Day 8: Trek to Thaknak (4,358m)
Trek along the Hinku River, gradually gaining altitude as you approach Thaknak. Overnight in Thaknak.

Day 9: Trek to Khare (5,045m)
Continue trekking to Khare, the base camp for Mera Peak. Enjoy views of the Mera Glacier and surrounding peaks. Overnight in Khare.

Day 10: Acclimatization Day in Khare
Take a rest day in Khare to acclimatize. You can explore the area or take a short hike. Overnight in Khare.

Day 11: Continue to Mera Peak High Camp and Summit (Optional)
For those continuing to Mera Peak, proceed to Mera High Camp and then attempt the summit. Otherwise, begin your return journey.

Day 12-14: Return to Lukla and Fly Back to Kathmandu
Retrace your steps back through Thaknak, Khote, and Lukla. Fly back to Kathmandu and enjoy the rest of your time in the city.
